HX-P2410 - 24V 10/100Mbps Passive PoE Injector, 24W, Wall Plug
A wall-plug passive PoE injector that powers a single device over its network cable, removing the need for a mains socket at the equipment end.
It plugs straight into an outlet, takes the data feed from your switch or router on the LAN port, and delivers data plus 24V DC on the POE port.
Because gigabit uses all four pairs for data, the 24V is carried on the same pairs as the signal, with power on pins 4/5 positive and 7/8 negativε, data and power coexist on the cable without either interfering with the other.
The housing is flame-retardant engineering plastic and the unit operates from −10°C to 60°C, so it can sit in an unheated cabinet or enclosure as well as indoors. CE and FCC marked.
Attention:
-
The 24V is present on the cable at all times, with no negotiation or device detection.
-
It is not IEEE 802.3af/at/bt, and it must only be connected to equipment that specifically states a 24V passive PoE input.
-
Connecting a standard 48V PoE device, or a device with no PoE input at all, can damage it.
