EZ-POEPA05 - 10/100M Passive PoE Injector, Cat.5 - Black

The EZ-POEPA05 is a passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector cable, designed to transmit both data and power over a single Ethernet cable to devices that do not have built-in PoE support.

Unlike active PoE (which follows 802.3af/at standards), passive PoE does not perform a handshake between devices and simply sends power across the unused wires in the network cable.

The output voltage is equal to the input voltage minus the voltage drop incurred over the length of the Ethernet cable.
